The direct vent draws its combustion air from outside while venting to the same outside atmosphere - thereby not consuming warm house air, nor competing with other appliances and furnaces for combustion air. Direct venting also eliminates drafts and heat loss associated with other fireplaces. Unit includes: Millivolt remote control natural gas valve with built-in adjustable flame heat control, exclusive Night Light with on/off switch, heat circulating blower with variable speed and thermostatic control, PHAZERAMIC burner, ember bed and logs, dual receptacle junction box, 20 ft. wire, piezo ignitor, firestop.
