NAPOLEON BGD40N2 MULTI-VIEW DIRECT VENT GAS FIREPLACE (ZERO CLEARANCE TOP OR REAR/45 degree VENT) Napoleon's Direct Vent Gas Fireplaces do not require a chimney and can be vented directly through a wall or roof. The direct vent draws its combustion air from outside while venting to the same outside atmosphere - thereby not consuming warm house air, nor competing with other appliances and furnaces for combustion air. Direct venting also eliminates drafts and heat loss associated with other fireplaces. Unit Includes: PHAZERAMIC burner, millivolt remote control natural gas valve with built-in adjustable flame/heat control, dual receptacle junction box, hinged heat resistant glass door, piezo ignitor, exclusive PHAZER glowing log set and charcoal embers, decorative brick panels, hardware, 20 ft. wire and firestop. Bathroom/bedroom/bedsitting room approved. Suitable for mobile homes. 30,000 BTU's. TESTED AS A HEATER TO ANSI Z21.88 AND CSA 2.33
